Steve "Fuzz" Kmak is an American bass guitar player, best known for his work with Disturbed.
Fuzz founded Disturbed in 1997 with guitarist Dan Donegan and drummer Mike Wengren. They played small clubs in Chicago before and shortly after singer David Draiman answered their ad. They then produced their first album The Sickness and their second Believe with Fuzz as their bassist. Any friction between the members was invisible to the eyes of fans. As Draiman put it "when Kmak was in the band, Disturbed wasn't totally clicking — personally or musically". After the band produced Believe, he was replaced with Matt Konopinski and then John Moyer. Since then, Moyer and the other three founding members produced their third album Ten Thousand Fists. All five members have kept quiet about the exact details of his leaving. Before being fired from the band, Fuzz let it be known to the members of the now defunct "Disturbed Message Board" that soon he would be a father of a girl. Kmak never came back to the board to give a birthdate or a name.
